In a groundbreaking move, Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa state has set in motion a comprehensive plan to overhaul and equip 10 FM radio stations across the region. During an exclusive interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Dutse, Mrs. Zainab Shu’aibu, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Media, unveiled this transformative initiative. She emphasized the urgent need to revamp FM Andaza and other stations, which have long been neglected and are in desperate need of technological modernization.

Shu’aibu highlighted that the governor’s unwavering determination to expedite these renovations is evident in his directive for a comprehensive assessment and recommendation for the upgrades and modernization of the stations. She expressed confidence that these stations would soon undergo a remarkable transformation, thanks to the governor’s decisive action.

Expanding the scope of this visionary media transformation, Mrs. Shu’aibu revealed that the governor had also given the green light for the training of social media influencers in the state.
