Former Nigerian president, Goodluck Jonathan, made it clear that he has no regrets for backing and endorsing the re-election of Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, in the November 11, 2023, off-cycle governorship election in the state. During a Yuletide visit to his residence in Yenagoa, Jonathan emphasized that his public support for Diri stemmed from the governor’s demonstrated visionary leadership in managing the state’s affairs and his ability to garner significant public endorsement.
