A New Mentality: Michallik Urges Arsenal to Sign Ivan Toney for Transformation

Janusz Michallik, a former United States international, has emphasized the potential transformation that Brentford’s Ivan Toney could bring to Arsenal, urging the North London club to secure his transfer during this January window.

Amid recent struggles and a decline in form, Arsenal finds itself in the fourth position on the Premier League table. Michallik believes that Toney’s arrival could inject a much-needed shift in mentality for Mikel Arteta’s team.

“Ivan Toney makes sense. I don’t know how long it is going to take him to pick up speed and get back to it,” Michallik expressed to ESPN, as quoted by TBR Football. “I know he’s been training for a long time. I don’t think it is an issue. He knows the league, he knows how to score in this league.”

Acknowledging Arsenal’s seriousness in pursuing Toney, Michallik underscored the potential for the Englishman to bring about a sudden shift in the team’s mentality.

Toney’s possible move to Arsenal has garnered widespread attention, with the prospect of his impact serving as a focal point for fans and pundits alike. As the January transfer window unfolds, the footballing world eagerly awaits the outcome of Arsenal’s pursuit of Toney, with the hopes of witnessing a significant change in the team’s dynamics.
