Leicester City’s Ndidi Faces Three-Month Injury Layoff, Confirms Manager Maresca

Leicester City’s influential midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is facing a significant period on the sidelines, as revealed by manager Enzo Maresca. The 26-year-old Nigerian, who has been dealing with a muscular issue, has already been ruled out of the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

Maresca expressed concern, stating, “Probably for Wilf, it will be a long time. It could be three months. It looks like a muscular problem, but an important one, so we will see in the next hours but the situation for Wilf is probably the clearest one.”

The absence of Ndidi from both international and domestic competitions is a significant blow for Leicester City and Nigeria. With his commanding presence in midfield, Ndidi has been a key figure for both teams, and his absence is expected to be keenly felt.

Leicester City’s fans and coaching staff will be eagerly awaiting updates on Ndidi’s recovery, as they face the challenge of coping without his influential presence on the pitch.
