Kano State Government Approves Resumption of Primary and Post-Primary Schools for Second Term

The Kano State Government has given the green light for the commencement of the second term in primary and post-primary schools starting on Monday, January 8. This eagerly anticipated decision was confirmed by Balarabe Abdullahi, the Director of Public Enlightenment in the Ministry of Education, through an official statement.

According to Mr. Abdullahi, boarding schools are scheduled to resume on Sunday, January 7, while pupils and students in day schools are instructed to resume the following day. Parents and guardians have been urged to take note of these dates, and the ministry has sternly warned of appropriate disciplinary measures against students who fail to comply with the specified resumption dates in public schools.

In a demonstration of its commitment to enhancing the education system, the Kano State Government has renovated Girls Child’s Education School buses to ensure the smooth transportation of students to their respective schools. Mr. Abdullahi reinforced the government’s dedication to bringing about positive changes in both the primary and secondary education sector within the state.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Education extended its well-wishes to teachers, students, and pupils for a successful second term academic session. Emphasizing its dedication to ensuring staff punctuality and efficiency, the ministry pledged to sustain rigorous monitoring to uphold educational standards.
