In a decisive move to uphold moral standards, the Katsina State Hisbah Board has taken action against the consumption and sale of alcohol in the state. More than 850 bottles of various alcoholic beverages were destroyed in the Kankara Local Government Area, affirming the state’s unwavering stance against immorality.

Dr. Aminu Usman (Abu-Ammar), the Hisbah Commander, emphasized the government’s resolute commitment to combating immoral behavior. He led the operation to burn the confiscated alcohol bottles, underscoring the stringent enforcement of anti-alcohol regulations in the state.

The intercepted alcohol, found in a vehicle destined for the town, and the contraband seized from local vendors, exemplify the rigorous measures taken by the Hisbah Board to eradicate the presence of alcohol within the community.

Dr. Usman reiterated the Hisbah’s authority to diligently patrol all corners of the state in search of immoral activities. He urged citizens to proactively identify and report locations where such illicit acts occur, reinforcing the collaborative effort required to maintain a morally upright society.

The commander called upon the public to actively support the board in fulfilling its duty to cultivate a more conducive and morally sound environment for the state. This decisive action by the Katsina State Hisbah Board affirms its unwavering commitment to upholding moral values and eradicating the consumption and sale of alcohol within the state.
