Delay in Mohbad’s Burial Due to Autopsy and DNA Test for Son, Says Singer’s Dad

Joseph Aloba, the father of the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has revealed that the burial of the singer is being delayed pending the release of the autopsy report and the conduct of a DNA test on his grandson, Liam.

In a recent interview with TVC News, Aloba emphasized that Mohbad’s body will not be laid to rest until the autopsy results and DNA test for his grandson are completed and clarified. He expressed the need for a DNA test to confirm his grandson’s paternity, citing uncertainty surrounding the recipient of Mohbad’s placenta at the time of Liam’s birth.

Aloba explained, “Mohbad had already been buried by me. They had to exhume his body for an autopsy. And since then, we are still expecting the autopsy result, which is necessary before you can even make any attempt to bury him. So we need the DNA and autopsy results. It’s very important. Those are the things that are delaying his burial. After they are sorted, we can make a move.”

He further added, “We, the family, need the result of a DNA test on Mohbad’s son because, when Liam was born, I don’t know the person they gave the placenta to.”

The delay in Mohbad’s burial has stirred emotions and concerns within the music industry and among his fans, awaiting closure and a dignified farewell to the beloved singer. As the wait continues for the resolution of these crucial matters, the anticipation for the final farewell to Mohbad remains at the forefront, awaiting the necessary closure for the late music sensation.
