This decision led her to the Women Creating Wealth (WCW) program, a pivotal point where she found the support and knowledge necessary to propel her business forward. The self-paced learning experience and the guidance of a dedicated coach empowered Akatuha to refine her business acumen and strengthen her organizational structures.
With a newfound understanding of financial management and strategic decision-making, Akatuha’s business witnessed remarkable growth. Her company’s monthly millet production doubled within just six months, complemented by the expansion of her team and supply frequency. Furthermore, her ability to attract potential investors was enhanced through the development of a compelling pitch deck, reflecting her newfound business prowess.
Beyond financial success, Kikazi Agri Products stands as a beacon of community development and support. Engaging in corporate social responsibility activities, the company has contributed to initiatives such as the Annual Muslim Run fundraiser and the Kisoba League, transcending faith boundaries to drive social cohesion and uplift young talents in the community.
