Nigeria’s Minister of Art, Culture, and Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa, has reaffirmed the government’s dedication to advancing women’s empowerment through the acquisition of creative skills. During a courtesy visit by Terra Culture Academy for Arts and the Business Day Media Foundation in Abuja, the Minister expressed the Federal Government’s pledge to support programs and initiatives focused on equipping women with creative skills.
Addressing the importance of the creative industry as a catalyst for addressing youth unemployment and empowering women, the Minister conveyed the ministry’s fervent commitment to promoting the sector. Emphasizing the significance of gender mainstreaming in the Creative Economy, she extended warm greetings to the organizers of the Women Creative Summit for their pivotal initiative.
