Zamfara APC Vows Mandate Reclamation in 2027 Following Supreme Court Verdict

The Zamfara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has acknowledged the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn the appeal court’s ruling that affirmed the election of Governor Dauda Lawal. In a press statement, the party’s publicity secretary emphasized that politics should not be a matter of life and death and urged supporters to accept the verdict as the will of God.

Expressing confidence in their future prospects, the party’s spokesman stated, “I do not believe that the party has lost, but I believe that the courts have cheated us. But 2027 is another year, and we are very confident that we will regain our mandate from the ruling PDP government.”

Notably, the aftermath of the Supreme Court judgment has been marked by a peaceful atmosphere in the State, as no violent incidents have been reported. Moreover, there have been indications of various political parties in the State exploring alliances with the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The APC’s response to the verdict underscores the resilience of the party and its determination to bounce back in the forthcoming election year. This development sets the stage for a potentially transformative political landscape in Zamfara State, as alliances are formed and strategies are redefined in the pursuit of political power.

As the political dynamics continue to evolve in Zamfara, all eyes are on the APC’s preparations for the 2027 elections, which are poised to be a critical juncture in the State’s political trajectory.
