Chinedu Ufere Excited to Score First Goal for Sporting Lagos

Sporting Lagos midfielder Chinedu Ufere expressed his elation after notching his debut goal for the club in a 2-2 draw against Shooting Stars at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena. Ufere, known for his tenacious style of play, credited his coaches for instilling the confidence in him that led to the crucial goal.

“When the pass came in, I had no other option than to shoot after seeing the goalkeeper at the first pole,” Ufere shared with the club’s media. “I took the responsibility as the coach has been urging me to go for the goal because we needed it.”
