In an unexpected turn of events, Tajudeen Abbas, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, made a stunning disclosure regarding the support he received from prominent political figures in Kaduna State. Abbas revealed that both Uba Sani, the current governor of Kaduna, and his predecessor, Nasir El-Rufai, played pivotal roles in encouraging him to contest for the speakership long before the 2023 general elections. This revelation came to light during a visit to Abbas’ office by Governor Sani and the Minister of Environment, Balarabe Lawal.

Expressing his gratitude, Abbas emphasized that Governor Sani and Minister Balarabe Lawal had been unwavering in their support since his early days as a federal lawmaker.
