Sporting Lagos Coach, Offor Urges Players to Rally Against Bendel Insurance

Sporting Lagos’ head coach, Paul Offor, is calling for a strong response from his team as they gear up to face Bendel Insurance in Benin City. The club, currently 16th in the Nigeria Premier Football League, is seeking to break their winless streak of six games.

In an interview with the club’s media, Offor emphasized the importance of securing positive results to climb up the NPFL table. Reflecting on the impact of their previous game, he expressed his reliance on the players to deliver a commendable performance against Bendel Insurance.

“After the game against Shooting Stars, the players were really down. I’m counting on them to give us a good reaction in the next game against Bendel Insurance,” Offor affirmed. “We have dropped a lot of points and we need to start picking up so as to improve our standing on the table.”
