Shooting Stars Coach Ogunbote Plans to Strengthen Team with New Players

Gbenga Ogunbote, the technical adviser of Shooting Stars, has expressed his determination to bolster the team with fresh talent in order to attain their set objectives. The Oluyole Warriors have encountered challenges in maintaining their promising start to the season, culminating in a recent six-game winless streak. Ogunbote emphasized the need to reinforce certain areas of the team with new additions, acknowledging the ongoing transfer activities of other clubs in the league.

“We need to strengthen some positions within the team, especially seeing other teams making signings,” Ogunbote stated in an interview with the club’s media. “It won’t be a major overhaul, just a few strategic signings to shore up our weaknesses and propel us forward.”

Shooting Stars, currently positioned 11th in the NPFL table, are gearing up to face Enyimba on Sunday, as they seek to regain momentum and ascend in the standings. Ogunbote’s strategic approach to infuse the squad with quality players reflects his commitment to elevating the team’s performance in the challenging football landscape.
