Seyi Vibez Opens Up About Perceptions of His Age and Musical Journey

In a revealing conversation on Apple Music’s Africa Now Radio, Nigerian music sensation Seyi Vibez, born Seyi Balogun, delved into why many assume he is older than his 23 years. The talented singer shared that the perception stems from his early foray into activities beyond his years.

“Everyone thinks I am older than my age. Nobody thinks I’m 23. Because it seems I’m doing what I am not supposed to do at my age. I just have to keep pushing and working, so my inspiration never dies,” Seyi Vibez expressed during the interview.

His deep introspection unveiled a personal inclination towards solitude and expression through his music. “I keep recording not because I want to record, but because I don’t like talking to people too much. Since I was young, I didn’t like talking to people too much,” he revealed. This solitary nature has been the catalyst for channeling his thoughts and emotions into his music, serving as his primary form of communication with the world. Seyi Vibez also hinted at the reservoir of unreleased songs, emphasizing his passion for creating authentic connections through his art.

With his candid insights, Seyi Vibez provides a window into his soul, offering fans a glimpse of the depth and maturity that defy his youthful age. As he continues to captivate audiences with his music, his journey serves as an inspiration for young talents navigating their paths in the industry.
