Kano State Revenue Service Denies Dismissing Eight Directors

The Kano State Internal Revenue Service has vehemently refuted claims of dismissing eight of its directors, labeling the reports as fabricated and intended to sow discord. In a press release penned by Deputy Director of Public Service, Rabiu RiminGado, the management clarified that the news of the directors’ sacking was not only unfounded but also malicious.

Contrary to the allegations of financial impropriety, the Service asserted that the repositioning of the directors was part of an ongoing organizational overhaul, emphasizing that they have not been terminated from their positions. RiminGado emphasized that the directors have been directed to hand over their duties to their deputies and await re-assignment under the purview of the Office of the Head of Civil Service, Kano State. This course of action evidently demonstrates that they have not been dismissed from their roles.
