An explosion in Kidandan village of Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State has shaken the community, resulting in the tragic loss of a pupil from an Islamiyya school and injuries to ten others. He revealed that the explosion occurred when one of the pupils, under the tutelage of a local cleric, retrieved an object from the bush, which subsequently detonated among the group of students.

The devastating impact of the explosion has led to the confirmed death of one pupil, Zaidu Usman, and the hospitalization of approximately 10 others receiving medical care at the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital in Shika-Zaria. Governor Uba Sani expressed profound sorrow and extended heartfelt condolences to the victims and their families, while praying for the deceased and the swift recovery of the injured.
