Mo Salah Confident in Egypt’s Quality for AFCON Success

In an exclusive statement to Daily Nigerian, Mohamed Salah, the prominent figure of Egypt’s national football team, exudes confidence in the team’s potential to advance in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cote d’Ivoire.

During a press conference in Abidjan, Mr. Salah expressed his belief in the team’s capabilities ahead of the crucial match against Cape Verde. “We need to fight and see what is going to happen. We have great players, I think this is the best 20 to 27 players in Egypt right now,” he conveyed.

Emphasizing the team’s need to exhibit courage and confidence, Salah asserted, “We just need to play our game with courage and confidence, I believe we can win the game.”

Mr. Salah underlined the significance of winning AFCON, stating, “I think everybody knows what it does mean to win the AFCON; we are always proud to wear the shirts.
