In response to these rumors, Benzema has refuted the claims, asserting that they hold no truth. In a statement to L’Equipe, as reported by The Mirror, Benzema expressed his dismay at the French media, accusing them of concocting baseless stories. He remarked, “It is completely false! The French media don’t know what to invent any more. The bigger, the better.”
Throughout the current season, Benzema has showcased his prowess on the field, netting 12 goals and contributing five assists across various competitions for Al-Ittihad. Despite the ongoing transfer speculations, the Ballon d’Or winner remains focused on his present endeavors while dismissing the inaccurate reports surrounding his future plans.
