Ondo State Governor Aiyedatiwa Appoints Tayo Oluwatuyi as SSG

Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has announced the appointment of Tayo Oluwatuyi as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), following the dissolution of the State Executive Council (SEC). Additionally, Abayomi Olasanya has been appointed as the Chief of Protocol, with both appointments taking immediate effect.

The disclosure was made in a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ebenezer Adeniyan. Oluwatuyi, known as ‘Tukana’, previously served as SSG under the late former Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu and also held the position of Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs during Akeredolu’s tenure. Furthermore, he served as Caretaker Chairman during the administration of former Governor Olusegun Mimiko.

In the statement, Governor Aiyedatiwa expressed his approval of Oluwatuyi’s appointment as SSG and Olasanya’s appointment as the Chief of Protocol.

The swift action taken by Governor Aiyedatiwa underscores his commitment to shaping the administrative landscape of Ondo State. This strategic decision aims to ensure the continued effectiveness of the state’s governance.

Tayo Oluwatuyi’s wealth of experience in governance positions, combined with his tenure as SSG under a previous administration, positions him as a strategic choice for the role. The appointment of Abayomi Olasanya as the Chief of Protocol further reflects the governor’s intent to assemble a proficient team capable of propelling Ondo State toward sustained progress.

As these developments unfold, Ondo State looks towards a new chapter under the leadership of Governor Aiyedatiwa, with the anticipation of continued growth and effective governance.
