In her own words, “When Khaid and I shared a picture, the backlash was relentless. ‘Is this the boy you’re dating, Phyna?’ they said. ‘You’re 30, and he’s just 17.’ The scrutiny was intense, and it made me ponder the fact that there are women in this society who are married to significantly older men.
