In a recent announcement, Dr. Samuel James has assumed the role of acting Rector at the Federal Polytechnic, Nasarawa. The decision, prompted by the conclusion of the tenure of the former rector, Dr. Abdullahi Alhassan, was disclosed by the institution’s acting Director of Information and Publicity, Safina Sabo, in Nasarawa.
Dr. James, previously serving as the Deputy Rector (Academics), has been entrusted with the responsibility of steering the institution’s affairs until the appointment of a permanent rector.
The appointment, detailed in a letter dated Jan. 23 and signed by the Director of the Polytechnic Education and Allied Institutions Department, Dr. Ejeh A.U., has received acknowledgment from the newly appointed acting rector.
Expressing gratitude to God and the Federal Ministry of Education for the opportunity to serve, Dr. James has pledged to collaborate closely with the institution’s management and staff to accomplish significant milestones.
This development marks a new chapter for the Federal Polytechnic, Nasarawa, as it looks towards a promising future under Dr. Samuel James’ interim leadership.
