The Jama’atu Nasril Islam (JNI) Nigerian Aid Group in Plateau State is calling for humanitarian assistance for the victims of the recent attacks in Mangu Local Government Area. With the humanitarian situation rapidly deteriorating, the aid group is urging fellow Nigerians to extend their support to those affected.

According to Lawal Ishaq, the Secretary of the aid group, many victims are currently stranded in Internally Displaced Persons camps, desperately requiring humanitarian aid. The Muslim community has been especially impacted by the attacks, and the aid group is emphasizing the crucial need for assistance.

The aid group has identified a range of essential supplies urgently needed by the victims, including food items, mattresses, blankets, mosquito nets, toiletries, insecticides, disinfectants, baby nappies, emergency lights, cooking utensils, cutleries, and medicines.

To facilitate the relief efforts, the Nigerian Aid Group of JNI Plateau State Branch is appealing to well-meaning Nigerians for donations in cash or kind. Those willing to contribute can deliver the mentioned items to either the Jos Central Mosque (Aid Group Office) or the office of the State Secretary of the Aid Group at ALHAQ CHAMBERS, No. 84 Yandoka Street, Jos.

Additionally, the aid group has provided its bank account details, encouraging cash donations to be made to account number 2005588800, domiciled at First Bank.
