The newly sworn-in governor of Kogi State, Ahmed Usman Ododo, has named members of his cabinet and other top aides, immediately after taking his oath of office

Ododo, who was sworn-in as the 5th elected governor of Kogi State on Saturday afternoon, wasted no time in announcing the nomination of some commissioners who would be forwarded to the State House of Assembly for confirmation as members of the State Executive Council (SEC)

Those on the list of commissioner-nominees, who were mostly members of the immediate-past administration of Governor Yahaya Bello. included the former SSG, Folashade Ayoade Arike, Kingley Fanwo, Deedat Salami Ozigi, alongside other aides.
