Lobi Stars Gear Up for NPFL’s Second Phase

Lobi Stars, the prominent football club based in Makurdi, Nigeria, has reinitiated training sessions after a week-long hiatus following the completion of the initial phase of the 2023/24 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season. The team is now diligently preparing for the upcoming crucial phase of the league.

The return to training was marked by a light practice session at the McCarthy Stadium in Benue on Sunday. Currently positioned at the top of the league standings with an impressive 36 points from 19 matches, Eugene Agagbe’s squad is gearing up to face Plateau United in Jos as the second phase kicks off.

The team’s primary objective remains securing their second NPFL title, a feat that signifies their relentless pursuit of excellence and dominance within Nigerian football circles.
