Supreme Court Delays Verdict in Binani’s Appeal Against Gov Fintiri

In a high-stakes legal battle, the Supreme Court has deferred its ruling on the appeal lodged by the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its Adamawa State governorship contender, Aisha Dahiru, also known as Binani, challenging the victory of Ahmadu Fintiri, the incumbent Governor from the Peoples Democratic Party.
Following an intense session on Monday, a panel of five judges headed by John Okoro opted to reserve the judgment after carefully hearing the arguments presented by all sides.
This development comes in the wake of the appellate court’s dismissal of Binani’s earlier lawsuit against Governor Fintiri on December 18 last year. Prior to that, the governorship election tribunal had similarly rejected Binani’s plea to unseat Fintiri.

Stay tuned for further updates as this legal saga unfolds.
