AFCON 2023: Super Eagles practice penalty kicks ahead Angola clash

The Super Eagles devoted time to practising spot kicks and shooting during Monday’s training session at the Police College, Cocody, Media Talk Africa reports.
The three-time champions will take on the Palancas Negras of Angola in a quarter-final tie at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations on Friday.
Mindful of what lies ahead of them, the Super Eagles practised penalty kicks and shooting towards the end of training.
Monday’s session was open to only the media.
Twenty-four players took part in the training session under the watchful eyes of head coach Jose Peseiro.
Goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali missed the session after sustaining an injury in the team’s Round of 16 victory against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon.
The Super Eagles will intensify preparations on Tuesday for the clash against Pedro Goncalves’ side.
