Multiple award-winning Nigerian singer, Wizkid has reacted to concerns he received from netizens following his appearance at an event in London.
Wizkid had attended the UK premiere of ‘Bob Marley: One Love’ in London.
The videos of the singer’s appearance at the event showed him looking solemn.
Following the viral clip, many Nigerians took to the internet on Tuesday to express concern over his look.
However, speaking in a series of posts on his Instagram story on Wednesday morning, Wizkid revealed that he has lost himself since his mother’s death.
“Look in the mirror and I don’t feel myself. Mama left me and I lost myself. I can’t wait to feel myself again. Life of a soldier! Military with it! Until then I dey slap away for free so leave me.
“And I’m thankful that you all are going through this phase with me. You seen me at my lowest now. When you see me back on my high no complain. Expensive pain.”
