The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, on Friday night, said the fire of God will consume those behind the abduction and murder of traditional rulers in the country.
He said anyone who attempts to interfere with Nigeria’s traditional rulers will not find peace.
Pastor Adeboye was speaking during the church’s monthly Holy Ghost Service programme tagged ‘From The Mountain Top 2’.
The octogenarian preacher said: “The fire of God will consume all those trying to mess around with our traditional rulers.
“Because, as far as God is concerned, traditional rulers are anointed.”
It could be recalled that the Onimojo of Imojo-Ekiti, Oba Olatunde Olusola, and the Elesun of Esun-Ekiti, Oba David Ogunsola, were assassinated on Monday while returning from a meeting in Irele-Ekiti, Ekiti State.
Also, some students and instructors were kidnapped in the coordinated attacks, with the gunmen returning on Thursday.
Also killed in his palace was the Koro of Olukoro, General Segun Aremu (retd), in the Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State, who wife was also abducted.
