In January, Kano State Fire Service bravely extinguished 70 fire incidents, preserving property worth N95 million and rescuing 25 lives. Sadly, two lives were lost, and property valued at N40 million was destroyed. The agency’s Public Relations Officer, Saminu Abdullahi, urged the public to be cautious, particularly during the dry harmattan season.
