Kano State Fire Service Rescues 25, Saves N95m Property, but Loses 2 Lives

In January, Kano State Fire Service bravely extinguished 70 fire incidents, preserving property worth N95 million and rescuing 25 lives. Sadly, two lives were lost, and property valued at N40 million was destroyed. The agency’s Public Relations Officer, Saminu Abdullahi, urged the public to be cautious, particularly during the dry harmattan season. The service also responded to nine rescue calls and 11 false alarms. Such heroic efforts deserve recognition and gratitude, as they play a critical role in safeguarding lives and infrastructure.
