South Africa’s goalkeeper, Ronwen Williams, exudes confidence as he prepares to take on Nigerian football stars such as Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman, and Moses Simon in the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations semifinal. Williams expressed his belief in the rock-solid defense of the Bafana Bafana, affirming that they are more than capable of containing the Nigerian attackers.

Speaking at a pre-match press conference, Williams emphasized his team’s readiness to confront the threat posed by Lookman, Osimhen, and Simon. Lookman has been in fine form, scoring three goals in the tournament, while Osimhen and Simon have also made significant contributions to Nigeria’s success.

Despite the prowess of these opponents, Williams remains undaunted, citing South Africa’s impressive defensive record, which includes four consecutive clean sheets. When asked about the prospect of facing the Nigerian trio, Williams responded, “Definitely. We are looking forward to the challenge. It’s going to be tough but we’ve been facing similar players throughout the tournament and I think our defence has been rock solid.”
