Katsina United has made an exciting decision to promote young talent, Baffa Armaya’u, to their first team following his outstanding performance in the NPFL youth league. Armaya’u played a pivotal role in Katsina United’s U-17 team, leading them to qualify for the playoffs of the youth league. Additionally, he was among the select players chosen by the Nigeria Football Federation for screening into the nation’s U-17 team.
Armaya’u has already begun training with the first team, gearing up for the second half of the 2023-24 NPFL season. Katsina United is set to face Bendel Insurance when the season resumes for its second round, scheduled to kick off on February 14th.
