The Police Command in Lagos State has successfully apprehended the notorious traffic robber who had been on the run for the past six months. The suspect, identified as 18-year-old Olawale Odunsi, was known for his involvement in numerous robberies around the Iganmu and Ijora under Bridge areas of the state.

According to SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesperson for the command, the arrest was made possible through extensive intelligence gathering and swift action by the operatives of the Ijora Badia Division. His capture comes as a relief to many victims who had fallen prey to his notorious attacks.

Hundeyin further disclosed that despite the suspect’s numerous attempts to evade arrest, he was eventually caught on Tuesday at around 3:30 p.m. as he was about to carry out another criminal operation. While the suspect confessed to the crimes upon his arrest, investigations are still ongoing to dismantle his terror gang.

This successful operation serves as a testament to the unwavering dedication of the Lagos State Police Command in ensuring the safety and security of the public.
