In a recent interview with The Beat 99.9 FM in Lagos, renowned singer Timaya disclosed his reasons for not being able to date Nigerian girls, despite his three Nigerian baby mamas. He emphasized that if he were a Nigerian girl, he wouldn’t date a Nigerian man. Timaya clarified that he doesn’t have an issue with Nigerian men or women, but currently, he couldn’t date a Nigerian lady. According to Timaya, the similarity in foundation and upbringing would result in a toxic relationship filled with lies and a lack of peace. He stated, “The relationship go be like police and thief.”
