Insecurity NSCDC solicits partnership with Army Immigration Service in Osun

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Osun is seeking collaboration with the Nigerian Army and Nigerian Immigration Service to address the state’s security challenges.
During a courtesy visit to Brig.-Gen. Aliyu Abdulkareem, the Commander, Engineer Construction Command, Nigerian Army, Ede, and A.O Bewaji, Comptroller, NIS, Osogbo, NSCDC Commandant Akintayo Adaralewa emphasized the importance of a joint effort in combating insecurity.
Adaralewa commended the Nigerian Army for their existing cooperation and requested further training for NSCDC personnel to enhance their operational efficiency in fulfilling their duty of safeguarding school children and addressing social vices within educational institutions nationwide.
In response, AbdulKareem expressed gratitude for the visit and pledged to uphold the strong relationship between the Nigerian Army and NSCDC. He highlighted the significance of proactive intelligence gathering and urged closer collaboration with the public for improved information sharing.
Similarly, Bewaji emphasized the necessity of educating personnel on inter-agency collaboration, emphasizing that synergy among security agencies is fundamental for achieving maximum security.
This proactive approach to inter-agency cooperation demonstrates a concerted effort by Nigerian security forces to address the complex challenges of insecurity in Osun State.
