Additionally, the coastal belt may encounter early morning mist and fog patches, along with partly cloudy skies within a prevailing hazy atmosphere.
On Sunday, NiMet foresees continued sunny skies and a hazy atmosphere in the northern region, while the North Central may experience slight dust haze. The inland states in the South are likely to encounter a hazy atmosphere with a few patches of clouds, with isolated thunderstorms possible in certain areas. Similar conditions are expected along the coastal belt, with isolated thunderstorms predicted over specific states.
Monday’s forecast maintains a pattern of sunny and hazy conditions in the northern region, while the North Central is anticipated to have a hazy atmosphere with a few patches of cloud. The inland areas of the South and the coast are also expected to exhibit patches of cloud within a hazy atmosphere. Early morning mist and fog patches are anticipated over the coastal regions, with isolated thunderstorms possible in certain states.
NiMet advises precautionary measures due to suspended dust particles, including the use of face masks where possible. Individuals with respiratory issues, children, and the elderly are urged to take precautions such as wearing warm clothing at night and moisturizing their skin and lips.
