The tragic crash of a Eurocopter EC130 helicopter near the California-Nevada border has claimed the lives of Herbert Wigwe, the CEO of Access Holdings, his wife, and his son, along with three other passengers. The incident, which occurred on Saturday, has left a deep sense of loss.

The helicopter went down around 10 p.m. local time near Nipton, Calif, an unincorporated community roughly 60 miles south of Las Vegas in eastern San Bernardino County, as confirmed by the Federal Aviation Administration.

Local authorities, particularly the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, were promptly notified and located the crash site east of Interstate 15, near Halloran Springs Road.
