Benjamin Tanimu has officially made the switch from Nigerian club Bendel Insurance to Tanzanian outfit IHEFU SC, as reported by Media Talk Africa. The transfer sees Tanimu signing a long-term deal with his new club and is set to make his debut against Mtibwa Sugar FC.
Tanimu’s move follows the recent departures of Tamara Ezekiel and Vincent Augustus from Bendel Insurance, highlighting a trend of players leaving the Nigerian Premeir Football League side. The 22-year-old originally began his professional career with the Benin Arsenals in 2022 and notably contributed to Monday Odigie’s side winning the 2023 Federation Cup.
