Asake Leads 2023 Rankings as Nigeria’s Most Streamed Artiste

Nigerian sensation, Asake, known as Ahmed Ololade, has clinched the top spot as the most streamed artiste in Nigeria for 2023.
The accolade was announced by TurnTable Charts on Wednesday via their official X account.
Asake gained widespread commercial success following the release of his chart-topping single ‘Omo Ope’ in 2022.
With an impressive 654 million streams, Asake dominated across Boomplay, Spotify, YouTube, and Apple Music.
Following closely, Seyi Vibez secured the second position with 533 million streams, propelled by the release of 2 albums and 2 EPs. Meanwhile, Davido claimed the third slot with 328 million streams, credited to his fourth album ‘Timeless’.
Omah Lay followed in fourth place with 301 million streams, while Burna Boy sealed the top 5 with 282 million streams, thanks to his seventh album ‘I Told Them’.
