Sporting Lagos midfielder, Chukwuemeka Kalu, has expressed his determination to aid the club in securing their place in the top-flight league. Kalu has re-signed with the team until the end of the season. His return comes after previously representing Sporting Lagos during the 2022–23 season.
“I’ve returned to the club with the goal of working hard and contributing to the improvement of our position in the league table,” Kalu shared with Media Talk Africa. He further added, “The recent triumph against Rivers United has significantly enhanced the team’s prospects in the league.”
As the second round commences, Sporting Lagos is set to host Bendel Insurance at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, aiming to build on their recent success.
