Nigerian Diaspora Commission Chair Applauds Super Eagles Captain Ahmed Musa

Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the Chair and CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), has lauded Super Eagles Captain, Ahmed Musa, for his exceptional representation of Nigeria abroad and for his role as a mentor to Nigerian youth. According to a statement from NiDCOM, Dabiri-Erewa commended Musa during a meeting with the footballer and his team in Abuja.

Dabiri-Erewa expressed her admiration for Musa’s commitment to promoting a positive image of Nigeria and excelling in the field of football. She also highlighted Musa’s philanthropic endeavors and his dedication to mentoring young people, leading to his recognition with NiDCOM’s National Diaspora Merit Award in the sports category.

He shared his aspirations to establish a school in his hometown, Kano, and later expand such initiatives to other states in the country. Additionally, Sarah David Areo, the FCT State Diaspora Focal Point Officer, commended Musa’s achievements and pledged support for his future philanthropic endeavors in Abuja.
