Denrele Edun Shares Emotional Journey Through Stroke Battle

Renowned Nigerian media personality and crossdresser, Denrele Edun, has opened up about his harrowing experience battling a stroke. In a candid interview with Channels TV, Denrele revealed the challenging chapter of his life when he was struck by a stroke that affected half of his face.

During the emotional interview, Denrele recounted the distressing period when he fell ill, disclosing the impact of the stroke on his facial muscles. He shared that the ordeal left his left eye closed and caused a noticeable shift in his facial features, compelling him to style his hair to cover the affected side.

“I had just come out of having a stroke on half of my face, I was very sick,” Denrele reflected. Despite the debilitating effects, he demonstrated remarkable resilience, continuing his work amidst the adversity. He described the physical struggles, revealing, “My face was dropping on the right side, anytime I had to drink water it would pour out of my mouth. One of my eyes was widely opened, and I couldn’t hear and breathe.”

Denrele’s courageous revelation serves as a poignant reminder of the human spirit’s capacity to endure and triumph over adversity. His story is a testament to perseverance and the unwavering determination to overcome life’s most daunting challenges.
