The Nigeria Police state command has confirmed an alarming surge in car snatching in Adamawa State. Specifically, the metropolitan areas of Yola North, Yola South, and Girei local government areas are experiencing a notable increase in car theft cases. In response, the State Police Command, through its spokesman SP Suleiman Nguroje, has announced plans to conduct intensive checks in these affected areas, potentially causing traffic delays. While emphasizing that these measures are intended to enhance safety and security, the Commissioner of Police has urged motorists to cooperate and understand the necessity of these actions.
