Nigerian Forward Awoniyi Shines as Nottingham Forest Defeats West Ham Utd

In a thrilling match at the City Ground, Nigerian striker Taiwo Awoniyi secured a 2-0 victory for Nottingham Forest against West Ham United. Awoniyi, 26, showcased his skill with a stunning goal in the first half, assisted by Nicolas Dominguez. This marked his sixth goal in 13 league appearances for Forest this season. Awoniyi was substituted in the 67th minute for Divock Origi, while his compatriot Ola Aina did not feature in the squad. Former West Ham United striker Callum Hudson-Odoi sealed the win with a late goal. This victory marked the first Premier League win for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side this year.
