FC Porto Faces Setback as Zaidu Sanusi Suffers Season-Ending Injury

FC Porto’s Nigerian defender, Zaidu Sanusi, is facing a major setback as he may miss the remainder of the season due to an injury sustained during the team’s recent 2-0 victory against Estrella da Amadora. Sanusi, who recently returned from the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, was forced off the pitch and replaced by Jorge Sanchez in the 37th minute. This injury comes after Sanusi’s struggle to maintain fitness, having already spent three months on the sidelines earlier in the season. With only five league appearances and one goal to his name this season, Sanusi’s absence will undoubtedly be felt by FC Porto.
