Manchester United Urged to Secure Signings of Son Heung-min and Frenkie de Jong, Says Dwight Yorke

Former Manchester United striker, Dwight Yorke, believes the Red Devils should prioritize signing Tottenham’s Son Heung-min and Barcelona’s Frenkie de Jong during this summer’s transfer window. Yorke expressed his thoughts following Manchester United’s recent 2-1 victory over Luton Town, which saw them reduce the gap to the top four to just five points. “I think we need a number nine, somebody with more Premier League experience, and a good player like Son would be brilliant,” Yorke mentioned to Gambling Zone. He emphasized Son’s energy and goal-scoring abilities, highlighting the value he could bring to the team. Yorke also advocated for the acquisition of De Jong to mentor Mainoo, emphasizing the positive impact the Barcelona midfielder could have on Manchester United’s midfield. According to Yorke, this combination would bring a nice youthful balance to the team.
