The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has successfully captured Isah Abdul, a 35-year-old high-profile kidnapper, in a well-coordinated operation in Kano State. NAF’s Director of Public Relations and Information, AVM Edward Gabkwet, disclosed that the arrest took place following credible intelligence on the suspect’s hideout and his gang’s activities in the region.
Isah Abdul was identified as the mastermind behind several kidnapping incidents in the area, including the abduction of Yakubu Ibrahim Tagaho, also known as Sarkin Noman Gaya, who was released after a ransom of N30 million was paid to the abductors. Additionally, Isah Abdul was involved in the abduction of two sisters and three others, all of whom were released after a substantial ransom was collected.
The NAF spokesperson noted that Isah Abdul is affiliated with notorious kidnapping gangs like the Danbul Fulaku gang, operating in Takai Local Government Area. As of now, Isah Abdul is in the custody of the Nigerian Air Force, undergoing further investigations, and is slated to be handed over to the appropriate authorities.
This remarkable achievement by the NAF serves as a significant blow to criminal activities in the region and demonstrates the military’s unwavering commitment to maintaining law and order.
