VP Shettima: 45 Trucks Intercepted Smuggling Maize Out of Nigeria

Vice President Kashim Shettima has confirmed the interception of 45 trucks transporting maize to neighboring countries. He made the disclosure during a conference on Public Wealth Management in Abuja. Shettima revealed that the interception led to a N10,000 reduction in the price of maize, emphasizing the need for unity to combat smuggling. The Federal Government is implementing measures to bolster food security nationwide.
