All Progressives Congress Declares Edo Governorship Primaries Inconclusive

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced that the Edo governorship primaries held on Saturday have been deemed inconclusive. This declaration was made by APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, during a press briefing in Abuja. Morka revealed that the decision was reached following an emergency meeting of the National Working Committee (NWC) on Tuesday in Abuja.

“The NWC deliberated on the report and resolved that the Edo Governorship Primary Election has not been completed and has now fixed Thursday, Feb. 22, for the completion of the primary election process,” stated Morka.

By postponing the completion of the primary election process to a specific date, the APC has set the stage for further developments in the Edo governorship race.
