Okpebholo Wins Edo APC Governorship Primary in Landslide Victory

Senator Monday Okpebholo clinched a decisive win in the Edo All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary election. The Chairman of the Edo APC shadow poll, Governor Bassey Otu of Cross River, announced Okpebholo’s victory after tallying the results from all 18 local government areas. Okpebholo secured a commanding lead with 12,433 votes, triumphing over Dennis Idahosa, who garnered 6,541 votes. The official collation and declaration took place at Lushville Hotel and Suites, Gapiona Avenue, in the Government Reservation Area (GRA) of Benin.
